From Jane & Richard (parents of the bride), October 2008 – Mandarin Oriental, DC Emma and Ben’s wedding was absolutely spectacular! And so much of it was because of you. From the invitations, to the flowers, to the tables and even to the individual menu cards, your suggestions were flawless. Plus, your vendor recommendations were pure genius. Most important, by the day of the wedding, we trusted you completely. (And you know we are control freaks with the highest standards.) Thanks to your calm demeanor and stellar organizational skills, we enjoyed the evening 100%. So many guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Bottom line: it was perfect. Please feel free to use us as a reference as we will give you our highest recommendation. From Resmi & Wagish, August 2007 – Foxchase Manor My husband and I would have never pulled off our wedding without Lauren! A true professional to the core! She was never pushy and I truly appreciated the fact that she dispensed creative advice only after I asked. Lauren is great with email - which is my only mode of communication! During the wedding process, we corresponded almost daily and she always kept a calm and sweet disposition when I asked my silly questions. She handled our 10+ vendors with such grace on the day of, so much so, that our guests and family could not stop RAVING about her. I was perfectly relaxed on my wedding day because I knew everything was in GREAT hands. Her company name says it all... when you work with Lauren, you're able to "Breathe". From Cheryl & Corey, October 2007 – Woodend Sanctuary The one vendor we could not have done without. We hired Lauren for day-of, but our contract actually covered the entire month before. Lauren was on top of everything the entire day, and was the type of person we would have wanted to invite to the wedding, if we hadn't already hired her as a vendor! Lauren created a 17-page timeline that covered everything from where we needed to be when, to what color napkins the caterer should put on the table, to when the ceremony flower arrangements should be moved into the mansion for the reception. We reviewed it with her a couple of weeks before the wedding, and then left it in her hands so we had nothing to worry about on the wedding day. She worked tirelessly for our wedding, both leading up to it and day-of. Lauren was friendly, but very professional and down to business. She had great ideas, but offered them only when asked. She let us plan the wedding we wanted, but was there to make sure we hadn't forgotten any details. Just an amazingly wonderful sweet person, incredibly calming on the wedding day, and possibly my most favorite vendor. From Julie & Brian, September 2006 – Saint Catherine's of Siena Catholic Church & Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner Lauren was amazing and instrumental in carrying out the day of my dreams. I interviewed six wedding coordinators, all top names in the DC industry but I felt the most comfortable with Lauren. She had no attitude and never tried to make decisions for her benefit. She worked tirelessly and it always surprised me that she was always awake and online at 3am and still there in the early morning the next day. She enhanced and carried out my ideas in the most meticulous manner. I am a hands-on kind of person, people would say high-maintenance, but Lauren's competence, sincerity, and attention to detail allowed me and husband to relax and enjoy our wedding. From Steven and Stephanie, November 2006 – St. Andrew Kim Catholic Church & Bethesda Marriott North Thank you! As you know, among personality types, Stephanie and I lean heavily to the Type A and anxious side of the spectrum. However, we never once doubted that our wedding woud go smoothly with you at the helm... and everything was indeed perfect. To us, everything just happened, rolling along a timeline that you created and we were able to enjoy our special day without looking at my watch the entire night. And how can we thank you enough for making those road detour signs with balloons when we found out about the road closing near the church on the night before?? We are convinced that it isn't because you felt that it was your responsibility (it wasn't!), but rather, it is purely your kindness that makes you think of doing it and then actually working all night and morning to make sure our guests wouldn't get lost. We were lucky enough to witness your talents in the past and so it was never a question that we should hire you. But for anyone who is considering hiring a wedding coordinator/planner, let me say that they definitely should. And let this letter be a strong vote in favor of you. In my line of work, there is a value proposition associated with every investment purchase. What is the value in expensive flowers, food and entertainment for a wedding if the wedding itself doesn't go smoothly? What you do and what you did for us is absolutely invaluable and we are hard pressed to find the proper words of gratitude. Thank you many times over. From Aryn and Erin, September 2005 – Hilton Mark Center Lauren helps to facilitate a harmonious balance allowing the bride and groom enjoy every moment of their special day while still being on time and fully prepared for the festivities. She helps out tremendously by dealing with last minute details that inevitably come up on the day of the wedding. Issues that might otherwise be brought to the bride or groom are superseded by Lauren’s ability to find a way to keep things running smoothly. One of the many amazing qualities that Lauren has is to be able to anticipate needs and react to them quickly, all while executing the many planned tasks she has to complete throughout the “big day”. It is truly remarkable to watch Lauren in action. She will be right there with you during the busy days leading up to the wedding and will remain at your side on the big day to be sure that the meticulously planned wedding goes as expected. The reassurance and confidence that Lauren’s professionalism brings to a sometimes overwhelmed bride and groom are worth more than words can express. Her rates are unbelievably low, especially considering the amount of time and energy she puts into your wedding. This is not just a job for Lauren, it is her passion! Lauren really cares about you and your wedding day, and it shows through everything she does! If you want a wedding planner that is reliable, conscientious, and an all around joy to be around, Lauren is the perfect choice for you. Choosing Lauren as your wedding planner is the first step you can make towards have the wedding of your dreams. From Andrew & Eunhee, August 2005 – Ashlawn-Highland Dear Lauren, We would like to thank you so much for your help on our wedding day. We must admit we were a bit naïve in thinking we might have been able to pull this off on our own. What we expected to be a somewhat simple, small event turned into a monster will a million details to coordinate. We could not have done it without you. From the moment we started planning, you were indispensable; and we want to thank you again for going ABOVE AND BEYOND, and being involved in every detail, even though you were not required to. When we look back at all the intricacies and details that you so miraculously managed the day of, we were amazed at your ability to juggle multiple tasks and make sure everything went as planned. Your attention to detail rivals mine (?), no, but seriously, you were amazing. One thing we realized from our wedding and others that we have been a part of is that having someone like you run the “offense”, so to speak, truly takes a load off the day of. We really wanted to enjoy and remember our wedding day, and your coordination and help allowed us to do so, stress-free and worry-free. In the end, our wedding was better than we could have EVER imagined. We were so glad everything fit and played together as you assured us it would. You are the best, and I feel fortunate for those folks out there who will have the opportunity to work with you in the future. |
